From the Principal:
Another week devoted to scholarship, character and service at Holy Cross School! Ask one of our third graders about a trip to the high school science lab to see fluorescent rocks "glow" - or ask a middle/high student about their first club meeting on Friday's "Club Day" - check with one of our athletes to learn that the JV Volleyball team took 2nd place in a recent tournament - chat with a second grader about meeting their prayer partners - or ask a Pre-K student about their "silly snakes." The school is alive with learning! Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life! Thank you for a great week and for entrusting your children to our care.

Summer reading/Olympic Fun Day
We have good news to share: with only 1 day left to turn in reading records, 95% of elementary students have already brought theirs in. Tuesday is the absolute last day to turn them in and get your invitation to the Olympic Fun Day on Sept. 10th. Contact Mrs. Main this weekend if you have questions. [email protected]
We would also like to thank all of the parents who have offered to donate food and drink items, or prizes, for the event. If you haven't already signed up and would like to help out by donating, please contact Mrs. Main ASAP! (See e-mail above)
We are still in need of pool noodles and a few more hula hoops. If anyone has a badminton net that is small and easy to transport, let us know if you would be willing to loan it to us.
College Visits
College visits are being scheduled to avoid AP, DE classes and lunch whenever possible. Every effort is also being made to spread out times so that the same classes are not being missed, but that's not always possible. Students are responsible for making up any missed work due to attending sessions with college reps.
