Note from the Principal:
When you walk through the front doors of the school, you will feel the power of a new school year! We are off to a wonderful start with smiling students, exceptional teachers and supportive families. The energy is amazing, and we undoubtedly have unleashed the Holy Spirit who will guide us throughout the year. Thank you, once again, for entrusting your children to our care. Our focus on scholastics, service and character will lead your child to his/her full potential. Thanks to all for a wonderful beginning. Go Gaels!
CAFETERIA NEWS:
Parents are reminded to send lunch money with their children if they plan to buy lunch through the cafeteria. No charges should be made as it causes a hardship on our business arrangement with the Farm Basket. We want to be able to continue offering hot and healthy options for our students, but each student is expected to pay at the time of purchase.
We continue to need volunteers to help serve our students or work the cash register during our lunches. Please contact Hazel Updike at gupdikeiii@msn.com to volunteer as a cashier or Darlene Eichmann at edec@verizon.net to volunteer in serving meals. Each job is very easy, and we will train! It is a fun way to see all our students - and you can volunteer each week, bi-weekly or monthly. Please consider - we need your help!
Innisbrook Fundraiser News! Congratulations to First Grader Isabella Marshall! She has already sold 14 items and will receive lots of prizes on Tuesday. Register your child under his or her teacher's name and start selling! Your friends and family can order from anywhere. All they need is our school number- 105349. Let's reach our goal of $13,000 in sales!
Election Considerations from the Diocese ...

We all know that one topic of conversation that is going on and will continue is the 2012 Presidential Election. The Secretariat of Catholic Education has pulled together some information from other offices in the USCCB and prepared this electronic flyer for principals, teachers and parents.
During election season, you will inevitably be asked questions about the Church's role in political life. To prepare you for such questions and to help Catholics form their consciences, the Catholic bishops have made available dozens of resources at www.faithfulcitizenship.org.

PTO NEWS
You Can Make a Difference for Our School with Box Tops!
We've recently launched our 2012-2013 Box Tops for Education fundraising campaign. This year we've set a goal of earning $2000.00 through Box Tops.
Here's how you can help:
* Clip Box Top coupons from favorite products and send them to our school.
* Sign up to support our school on the Box Tops website at btfe.com
This year we are changing our program. If we meet our goal of $2000.00 we will all come together to celebrate. The PTO will have a pizza party and fun family event. We will have one for the elementary and one for the middle/highschool. If you send in a bag of 50 trimmed Box Tops with your child's name on the bag your child will be entered into a drawing for a Gift Card from Game Stop. This is the easiest way to raise money for our school. Every Box Top counts. Please put all your Box Tops in the collection box in the lobby. So far I have collected $300.00 in Box Tops over the summer.
For more information on how you can help our school earn cash through Box Tops, contact Jan Mata, our Box Tops coordinator, at jan@packetradio.com.
Don't forget to keep collecting your Tyson and Campbell's labels.

Vendors Wanted for PTO Santa Breakfast! $30.00 for 1 table or 2tables for $50.00 Contact Jan Mata jan@packetradio.com to reserve your table.

Set Up Your Renweb Parentsweb Account
Our school uses Renweb, an online school information system that integrates all information regarding your student into one place. On Renweb you will find the school calendar and important school-wide announcements, forms, attendance, family information, and discipline. For students in grades 3-12, Renweb also displays the gradebook of the teacher of every subject and shows the current average for your child in that subject, as well as interim grades and report cards. You are also able to easily email teachers with your questions and concerns.
To set up your Parentsweb login please click on the link below and follow the instructions on the page. If you have difficulties setting up your account or logging into your account from last year, please contact Carolyn Jones or Fran Harvey.
