lexi WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SERVE OUR CHILDREN:

As we approach the start of school, please consider volunteer opportunities.
The cafeteria requires 2 volunteers each day. One serves the food on the  line from 11:00-12:50.  The 2nd volunteer operates the cash register. NO MATH SKILL REQUIRED for this job ! Cashier hours: 11:15 - 12:50.  All students use the cafeteria each day, so please consider helping during this time.  It is great fun and a great way to see your children during the school day.
Please contact Darlene (edec@verizon.net) if you are interested in helping serve in the lunch line or Hazel Updike at gupdikeiii@msn.com with your availability to help as a cashier.  Please also note that you can sign up to help at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 16.
Thank you,

Hazel and Darlene

Targ
et Fundraiser for Holy Cross

Right now all Facebook users have an opportunity to participate in an amazingly simply fundraiser for our school.  Target is offering free  $25 gift cards for every 25 votes for Holy Cross.    All you have to do is search for Give With Target on Facebook (Or go to the Holy Cross Catholic School FB page and click on the link that is already on that page).  You will have to allow the FB app permission for you to vote, etc. You then need to search for our school.  The easiest way to do this is to type in just Holy Cross and the zip code of the school, 24501.   Our school should then come up. Vote for us today and then vote again the following Sunday.   You can vote once a week every week until September 8.  Each 25 votes gives us $25, and right now we have over $100 in gift cards.  Spread the word!

Mark your calendar now:  First PTO meeting is September 5 at 5:30 pm

Volleyball Manager Needed End of summer
Mrs. Wesley is looking for a student from the middle or high school who would like to be the manager of the Middle School volleyball team.  The manager needs to be able to attend all games, including away games, learn how to keep the score book, and help with other small tasks.  The manager does not need to attend practices but will need to spend some time with Mrs. Wesley to learn how to keep the score book.  If your child is interested, please email Mrs. Wesley at NatalieWesley619@yahoo.com, call (434) 942 8612, or let her know if you see her at school!

End of summerVolunteers Needed to Help Promote Innisbrook Sale at Churches
