Dear Holy Cross Families,
As we end the year, I want to thank each of you for entrusting the care and education of your children to us. We know the Holy Cross School community encourages the best from every child, and you just have to enter the hallways to see the blessings flow!
- Our sports teams were valiant competitors with our soccer team reaching the State Finals and our golf team competing at the state level as well.
- Our music, orchestra and band programs continue to grow and flourish!
- Art everywhere - but what a wonderful show on Grandparents Day!
- Our Young Authors swept the district and regional awards ... again!
- Our Terra Nova results continue to prove with data the academic strength and rigor of our curriculum.
- Our Awards Ceremony for the MS and HS took over two hours because of the many achievements of our students.
- WE EXCEEDED OUR ANNUAL FUND GOAL OF $100,000 due to the support of our many benefactors!
- 100% of our seniors are heading to college in the fall!
- The Middle School production of Beauty and the Beast was better than Broadway productions!
- We successfully completed the SACS review, and WE ARE SACS AND VCEA ACCREDITED!
- We begin and end each day with prayer and have enjoyed our spiritual community to include retreats and liturgies to help us grow closer to God.
I am very blessed to be leading this fine school. I wish each of you a restful and safe summer. We can take great pride in another successful school year. The seniors said it best when they picked as their closing song to their Baccalaureate, Our God is an Awesome God!

Holy Cross Teachers and Families,
For the past five years our children have attended Holy Cross School and for the past three years I have had the pleasure of serving on your Holy Cross School Advisory Board. Very soon we will be moving to Great Falls, Montana as I start a new job. As a parent I want to thank the Holy Cross families, teachers, and administrators for the wonderful living and learning community you have provided. On the first day our kids attended Holy Cross they came home saying "We love Holy Cross School!" That sentiment is just as strong today as it was five years ago. As the School Board Chair I want you to know that the culture of a welcoming community does not just happen by accident. It takes intentional effort from a lot of people who put our children as their top priority. The Holy Cross teachers, administrators, and families are wonderful. Holy Cross is an exceptional school thanks to so many of you. Parents please stay involved with the school and please consider volunteering to serve on the School Board.
Each of you has a special place in our hearts. Please join us for an Open House Saturday, June 16, 1 - 6, 121 Stillhouse Run. This is a chance before we move for us to say thank you for being an important part of our lives. You will all be missed very much.
