Dear Parents and Friends of Holy Cross School,
As I mentioned in our Appeal letter this fall, Holy Cross is a newsworthy school! Headlines from the fall include growing band, strings and forensics programs; a delightful drama production by the high school for our younger students; hosting a teacher workshop for Diocesan teachers; cheering on our outstanding volleyball teams and our state-finalist soccer team; continuing our Club Days; holding socials and lock-ins; and earning numerous service hours - all this action while celebrating a huge portion of our student body on the honor roll. Holy Cross is blessed with talented students and faculty who need your support.
As we near the end of the fiscal year, I ask that you consider a donation to Holy Cross so that we can continue these incredible headlines. Our Annual Fund goal for 2011-2012 is $100,000, and we have currently reached 34% of our goal. Our Annual Fund is the source of income that allows us to meet the need between tuition and operating budget. We need those who believe in us to bless us with a donation so that we can make a difference in children's lives.
Please remember that donations are tax deductible and can be mailed directly to the school: 2125 Langhorne Road, Lynchburg, VA 24501. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of Holy Cross School.
I wish you and yours a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Blessings,
Patti Culbreth
Principal

Remember ... keep using your CARDS! Buy Script cards for the holidays; use your school Kroger card (we have raised over 2,000 since last August); and use your Food Lion card. Questions about cards? See Jan or Jay Mata for details.
