Congratulations to the Holy Cross Forensics Team!  Twins

They made a great showing at the 2nd Qualifier for the SWVaFL Wednesday night.  Sam Winters and Gabie Braxton won 1st place for Public Forum (the 2nd HC team to do so in as many tournaments in this League).  Meghann Hansen and Daniel Casker placed a respectable 6th place in PF and Grayson (Daniel) Kosciusko took 4th place in Impromptu!  The whole team worked hard and had a good time!

Thanks go to Nina Rezai, Alumni for HCRS and Forensics, for joining us at Liberty H. S. as a Judge.  Thanks also go to Robin Davies!

Congratulations to our First Lego League Team!

Congratulations to the Gaelgos, our First Lego League participants in this year's FLL regional tournament here in Lynchburg, VA. Out of 19 Division 1 teams representing area public, private, and home schools, our Gaelgos were one of four teams invited to advance to the state tournament in Harrisonburg, VA on December 3rd.

Team members include Alan Leal, Christopher Moreno, Jacob Winters, Jason Rony, Joseph Dumonsau, Spencer Knight, and Thomas Matthews. In the robot competition, the Gaelgos earned 104 points and tied for the 3rd highest score. For the project competition, the Gaelgos proposed a innovate solution to reduce the number for cracked eggs in a carton of eggs at the grocery store.

      Way to go Gaelgos!
