Flynn & O'Hara will have a new uniform sale on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. This is the only time they will be at our school before the fall session begins. Come see our new fleece jackets, fleece vests, as well as the new banded polo shirts (for Middle and High girls) AND new non-pleated pants! Buy items on the spot and/or order for August delivery.

ATTENTION ALL HOLY CROSS STUDENT ATHLETES
Anyone interested in playing an interscholastic sport at Holy Cross during the 2011-2012 school year must have a completed physical form BEFORE trying out for their respective teams. No one can practice or try out without completion of this document. Physical forms are available in the high school office. If you have any questions, see Mr. Washington or Mr. Mitchell.

Wanted: summer readers! Elementary summer reading has begun! Summer reading logs were sent home last week but if you have misplaced it, please pick up a copy this week when you pick up report cards! Students going into 3rd through 5th grade will have some specific guidelines. Your teacher will send this home in your brown envelope with report cards. Western Day celebration for all summer readers will be in early September! Stay tuned!
Accelerated Reader: Many students like to read books from the A.R. list over the summer but don't want to wait until late August to take the quiz. I will be available for students to come in and take a quiz a few times over the summer. These dates will be communicated through E- newsletters or e-mail. If you want to be sure to know the dates, send me an e-mail (main_h@hcrs-va.org) so that I will keep you informed. A complete list of book titles that we have the A.R. quizz for is available on our website, but hard copies will be available during report card pick-up this week!!
E-Crossette Summer Schedule and Unsubscribing Info
The last regularly scheduled edition of the E-Crossette for the school year will be Sunday, June 19. We will be sending out the E-Crossette during the summer months as we receive information to share, but it will not be every week. We will resume regular weekly publication the week before school starts.
If you do not wish to receive the E-Crossette due to graduation or other reasons, please click on our Safe Unsubscribe link at the bottom of this email, and your name will be removed from our list.
