Important PTO News
Due to slow ticket sales, the cash raffle scheduled for March 5th has been canceled.
The PTO had secured a location, caterer, raffle equipment, and emcee; however, sluggish ticket sales prove that this fundraising event has not gained
momentum this spring. Perhaps this event is not the right one for our
families, or possibly we are all extremely busy and March is not a good time
for a fundraiser. Whatever the cause, one of the PTO's missions is to hold events
that will financially benefit the school and our children. If the event
does not promise to do so, we feel compelled to cancel and consider other
options in the future.
We are always looking for input on what kinds of events our families would
support. If you have ideas that you would like to share, please let us know
by emailing pto@hcrs-va.org
Current Cash Raffle ticket holders will have money returned them. We appreciate those who bought tickets as a way to support the school, and we
would like to make a suggestion to consider the Annual Fund this spring.
Tuition only pays for 75% of the school's operating budget, so every
contribution helps! Thank you in advance for your continued support of Holy
Cross School!
