New School Year Information
Summer
is quickly coming to a close, and our HC students will be back in the
classroom in just a week. Please note the following information
concerning the beginning of school!
Monday, August 16 and Tuesday, August 17 Senior portraits will be taken at school. Call the office for details!
Thursday, August 19 at 7 pm - Elementary Back to School Night
Friday, August 20, from 10 am until noon - MS/HS students pick up schedules and locker assignments
Saturday, August 21 8:45-2pm Training for new Girls on the Run coaches. Please

Attention 10th Grade Parents:

so that I have current email addresses for you. It is time to start
raising money for Prom and After Prom. Look forward to a meeting the
first week of school so we can get the ball rolling!
Elementary Volunteers Needed
We
were blessed last year to have volunteers
help with elementary lunch. We are looking for helpers again this
year to assist with morning cafeteria duty, lunch duty, and recess duty.
You will be with an experienced teacher/aide at all times. Please
contact Julia Wingfield at wingfield_j@hcrs-va.org if you can help, even
if it is only 1 day a month. We can use you for whatever time you can
help. Thanks!
PTO Yard Sale
The
PTO needs students on Friday, September 17th to help set up tables and
bring in the yard sale items to the gym. We will have signup sheets in
the office and at the back to school nights. Service hours will be given
for this project on a first come, first serve basis.
To submit articles to this newsletter, please send them to e-crossette@hcrs-va.org no later than 6:00 pm on Saturday. Our E-Crossette will be delivered on Sundays.
