Cyber Santa landed his Sleigh in Excelsior Springs Saturday Night, November 19th. There were many holiday events that night such as a Taste of Christmas at various restaurants, The Hall of Trees in the Hall of Waters and a Lighted Christmas Parade.

The December Holiday Chamber of Commerce Christmas Luncheon

 

Our December Christmas Luncheon is always a special way to kick off the Holiday Season ! Come join us at "The Montgomery" at 427 S. Thompson on Wednesday, December 21st from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   The Elm's Resort & Spa is hosting a wonderful luncheon so come enjoy and please make your reservations by calling the Chamber Office at (816) 630-6161 or e-mail us at info@exspgschamber.com  
There will be many special Holiday Drawings!
If you or your business would like to donate a special Holiday Door Prize please bring it with you to the luncheon.

Holiday Homes Tour  - Saturday, Dec. 3, noon - 7 p.m.
Tour five beautifully decorated homes in the Excelsior Springs area. Tickets are $10 or $14 at the Door and are available at the Chamber Office - 461 S. Thompson or any of the participating businesses who have decorated these fine establishments.

Cyber Santa Landed his Sleigh in Excelsior Springs
Branch Manager Stephen Chalmers talks about how the self-service checkout, pictured above, provides added convenience to the account holders.

The Excelsior Springs Branch Library is one of the 30 branches of the Mid-Continent Public Library which serves the residents of Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties. In addition to books, Internet, and other resources, the library offers programs for all ages including book clubs, storytime for families, homeschooling programs, free tax help for seniors from AARP, and genealogy. "A new Adult Reading challenge will begin January 1 and last throught the end of 2012", said Stephen Chalmers, Branch Manager.
