2011 Golf Flier

For the past 21 years, the Excelsior Springs Area Chamber of Commerce has sponsored its annual Golf Tournament as an opportunity for businesses and individuals to support the Chamber of Commerce while having a little fun on the beautiful greens of the Excelsior Springs Golf Course. This year's tournament is on Friday, September 16, with lunch and registration at noon and a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

Your participation and/or sponsorship this year will have an extra special meaning. In addition to helping your local Chamber of Commerce, this year's Golf Tournament will proudly support the Excelsior Springs Varsity Cheerleading Squads unique opportunity to perform during the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee on December 31.

These young women of the Excelsior Springs High School Cheerleading Squad have a chance to represent the Excelsior Springs community as our ambassadors on national television by performing during the halftime show of the Liberty Bowl. To make this dream a reality, the squads need to raise $15,000 to cover travel and lodging expenses. The Chamber sees this as an excellent collaborative effort to not only promote our community nationally, but provide a life-changing experience for a handful of our community's youth.

If you can sponsor a hole, play in the tournament and/or donate an auction item, your support would be greatly appreciated. Call the Chamber office and we will be glad to stop by and pick up your donated item.

Please mark your calendar and set aside the afternoon of Friday, September 16 for fun, sun and a great round of golf.
