Our December Monthly Luncheon was a great success! We'd like to thank the Elm's Resort & Spa for sponsoring and all the business donations for our door prize drawings ! We had over 150 attendees and it was well received as the Elm's is a gracious and historic hotel to celebrate the holiday's.
We are now accepting sponsors for our 2011 Monthly Chamber Luncheons held the Third Wednesday of every month at the Clay/Ray Vets Club. If you or your company would like to be a sponsor please call the Chamber Office at 816-630-6161.

| | Business of the Month - Mid-Continent Public Library

The Excelsior Springs Branch Library is one of the 30 branches of the Mid-Continent Public Library, which was established in 1965 and serves the residents of Clay, Platte, and Jackson Counties. The library has been located at 1460 Kearney Road since 1986.
"We joined the Chamber in order to better serve the community by increasing awareness of library resources and services within the community," said Stephen Chalmers, Branch Manager.
In addition to books, Internet, and other resources, the library offers programs for all ages including book clubs, storytime for familes, homeschooling programs, free tax help for seniors from AARP, genealogy, and more.

Please Welcome Our New Chamber Member - Mind, Body & Soap
One of Excelsior Springs newest businesses, Mind, Body & Soap Co., has been offering luxury bath and body products at different locations for several years and recently opened a store at 105 W. Broadway, in the historic downtown.
 "We are a loving family that recently located to Kansas City to raise our family and follow the American dream of owning a business and spending more time with our children," said Katherine Miller, who owns the store with her husband, Chris.
Chris is a native of Kansas City. They recently moved from California, where Katherine's experience as a skin care specialist first peaked their interest in all natural skin care products.
"We have been dedicated ever since to providing quality, natural products we feel comfortable using on our family," Katherine said.
The Miller's offer a selection of bath and body products, jewelry and vintage decor. All of their bath and body products are hand crafted, using only the finest natural ingredients.
"We love Excelsior Springs and are so grateful for all of the warm wishes! We look forward to participating more and more as our journey with you all continues," said Katherine.
