Globalquerque Field Trip!
Tomorrow, Friday, September 21st, our entire school will be taking a field trip to the Globalquerque School Day Concert. Our students will be treated to the performance of Zeb & Haniya from Pakistan and the rock group Ozomatli at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. The performance is free. Chaperones will drive their own vehicles and meet us at the NHCC.
Any child that does not have a signed field trip permission form on file will not be allowed to participate. If your child does not have permission, please come to CIS at drop off and sign the form.
The students will take buses from CIS to the NHCC at 9:15 am. The performance begins at 10 am and will be an outdoor event. The performance lasts approximately 1 hour. The bus will be available for pickup at 11:15 and we should be back at CIS by 11:30. All students must return on the bus from this event.
Students must wear standard uniform dress. No t-shirts or jeans are allowed. MYP students with the button down oxford should wear that. Those without oxfords should wear the uniform polo. Khaki or dark blue uniform pants should be worn.
All students will return to CIS for lunch. The modified lunch schedule is:
