Winter Weather |
|
The cold weather is upon us! Should snowy weather hit, please find information about CIS closures due to inclement weather on KOAT news and our Facebook page. Stay warm! |
Hot Lunches
|
|
Those that have been ordering the hot lunch report that it is very tasty! If you would still like to order something for November, please send a check and order form in asap! Three dollars per meal buys a hot main dish and a salad, and milk or water. Lunches can be ordered by the week, instead of by the month if necessary and for the same price of $3.00, anyone interested can order a substantial box salad for your child with meat included. This is an excellent option for those on a gluten-free diet.
The calendar menu for December should go out this week. |
Club News

Contact Brian Wiley at b_nwiley@yahoo.com if your child is interested in attending the second session (those already on the waitlist will be given priority). |
Winter Shop N'Stroll
|
|
Hello CIS Families,
The cold weather and holiday season celebrations are around the corner! Mark your calendars for the CIS Winter Shop N' Stroll that is scheduled for December 10th at 10:00 am -12:30pm. This is a family event with a "Kids only Shopping" area!
The shopping area is made possible by donations of articles by CIS families. We need all your extra, unwanted, "stuff" for the shopping area. This is a great opportunity to do some fall cleaning! Examples of items to donate are: unopened lotions, soaps, holiday ornaments, gifts that were given to you that you don't know what to do with, old jewelry, etc.
**It is greatly appreciated if you would please pre-mark the items you donate with a price. Last year we had items from .10 cents to $1.00, please mark your items with what you think is a fair price.
Please contact Karen Grending if you have questions or can volunteer some time for this event. Karen Grending: kgrending@grending.com, or 463-6801.

We had a blast at this year's Marigold Parade for dia de los muertos! Thank you to the art club and the other CIS families that came and decorated the CIS float. We hope more families will join in the fun next year! A huge thank you goes out to Cissy Prewitt (Jose, Enrique, Oliver C. and Max C's abuela) for hosting the float decoration get together, to Mr. Lukes for use of the trailer and to Mrs. Norma Giannini, our dedicated art teacher who donated so much of her time and love to the art club to prepare for this event!
