Hello CIS Parents,
I am attempting to start the bus service for this school year. I am trying to determine how many parents are interested in possibly using the bus this year. The bus service is for parents who live on the West-side, Rio Rancho, and Corrales
The Morning and Afternoon pick up and drop off times will be:
1. Winterhaven and Montano Plaza 7:05 am Drop off at 3:55 pm
2. Next to Golden Corral- 7:25 am Drop off at 3:30 pm
Please note: these are just estimates. We will need to have our children at the bus stops 5 minutes prior to pick.
School hours are:
1. K - 5th grade 8:15 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Students may be dropped off at 8:00 a.m.
2. Before care will be available beginning at 7:00 a.m. in Ms. Escobedo's classroom.
3. EARLY DISMISSAL ON WEDNESDAY 8:15 - 12:30 p.m.
4. 6th - 10th grade 8:00 a.m. - 3:10 p.m. Monday
Things to consider and why the bus is a great service:
1. The Bus stops are closer to you then the school
2. Less wear and tear on your vehicle
3. You will avoid traffic going to and from the school
4. You will avoid the traffic at the pickup and drop off times at CIS
5. Your kids will hang out with their friends prior to school and after school
6. The cost will be per family not per child
7. And most importantly we have the same bus driver from last year who is wonderful and very safe.
