Make your Memorial Day Weekend more memorable by giving back to your community!
 
Help support the Urban League by volunteering to grill brats and hotdogs at the World's Largest Brat Fest 2011!
 
For every hour of volunteer work completed, Brat Fest will donate $10 to the Urban League's agenda to make our community the Best in the Midwest for everyone to live, learn and work!
 
Three & four hour shifts are available from 9am-9pm on May 27th, 29th  and 30th.  Grillers must be 18 years old.

Director of Building Services

Manager of High School Tutoring  

The Urban League is seeking a full-time manager to oversee the Schools of Hope tutoring programs in six high schools. The Manager will provide supervision to ten AmeriCorps members and two paid staff. The program engages students for sustained tutoring with the outcome of improved academic performance. Volunteer management and tutor training are also key duties. Qualifications include degree in education or related field, 2+ years supervisory/managerial experience, direct experience working with students of color and/or low-performing students, demonstrated skill working with multiple community partners, and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency. Grant management experience also preferred. Apply by 5/16 here.
