Seattle Homes and Lifestyles is a gem of a regional publication and quality is such a integral part of the fabric of who they are.

We are flattered and grateful for such a wonderful telling of our story.

We were also mentioned in the latest issue South Sound Magazine. The online article does not show too much of our extensive work on the property, but the hard copy version shows much of it, and mentions our collaborative efforts in a wonderful way.

Not living in the South Sound region I was unaware of this publication until it crossed my desk. I was truly impressed with this magazine and its quality local content.

Per our recent by-law amendment approvals, many designers will have the opportunity to change their membership status.  Please contact Cara Fleming or Ann-Marie Launders for Change of Status forms.  

 

2011 Focus on Design Conference: Oct. 6-7, 2011 

We will be partnering with the local NKBA Chapter as well as Seattle Design Center.  NKBA will have a co-chair for the conference with NWSID chair Karen Lunn-Fisher, and have as many people on the committee as NWSID. There will be at least ten Sub-Committees, and it's very important to ensure the event's success that every NWSID member volunteer their time, whether it's prior to or during the conference.  Contact Karen today: Karen Lunn-Fisher (lunnfisherdesign@comcast.net) or 425-361-3980 to volunteer.

NWSID at the Bellevue Home & Lifestyles Show:  The Puget Sound Chapter of the Northwest Society of Interior Designers made its 15th appearance at the   Jan. 21-23, 2011 at the Meydenbauer Center.  NWSID's interior designers and their Professional Resource Affiliate members were on hand to share information about NWSID, as well as to assist attendees with their design dilemmas. The planning committee included Jennifer Chase, Patty Koskovich, Shelley Nordlund, and Craig Sawyer.  Other volunteers who staffed the booth for the show included the following members:  Marcella Diamond, Ann Fiser, Cara Fleming, Richard Landon, Dale Schoenle, Penny Sindell, and Paul Valley.  Special thanks go to those who set-up and dismantled the booth, including Craig Sawyer, Shelley Nordlund, Patty Koskovich, Jennifer Chase, as well as PRAs Paul Valley, David Shuler, and Mark Olson. We appreciate all who participated in the event to make the public more aware of NWSID's many talented designers.
