Grander Worldwide Spotlight
A beautiful golf resort in Queensland, AU
Palm Meadows Golf Course Queensland, Austrailia
Golfing on the Gold Coast of Australia

Wayne Slack is the General Manager for Grander Water Technologies in Australia and is also a member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.  Wayne has had immense success with Grander installations in all areas of use and has generously provided the following story and pictures from his project at the Palm Meadows Golf Course on the Gold Coast of
Queensland Australia.

 RESULTS AMAZING, SAY EXPERTS!

The Palm Meadows Golf Course, an environmentally friendly club situated on Australia's Gold Coast of Queensland, is a leader in its industry.

With the introduction of Grander Technology the club has been able to achieve near potable water using effluent from the local council.

3 years after beginning the revitalization process, this glass of water drawn from the pond is testament to the renewed health and vitality of the golf course ecosystem.
Bacteria and water quality tests were taken every month over a three year period.  These results were so amazing that Palm Meadows Golf Course featured in several Channel 9 News reports and Magazine articles.

(visit www.grander.com.au for the link to the Channel 9 news footage)

The golf course master superintendent, Tony Brown says since the Grander system was installed the water is used to irrigate landscaped grounds and the club also no longer receives complaints from neighbours about odors.  The environment also benefits from reduced run-off pollution.

The course superintendent Jason Batterham says there are other benefits to the system.  When they cut pipes, there is no slime build up, filters are cleaner and water quality is just incredible.   After 12 hard frosts they are still mowing, whereas normally grass would be dormant.

Today local waste water experts still watch in disbelief!
