Almost all chemical reactions in our bodies involve water.
Our bodies need ample water in order to complete various tasks like dissolving nutrients to feed our bodies and dissolving wastes to be purged from the body. Water is the basic part of every living cell. Our blood which, by the way, contains lots of water, is an important method of carrying dissolved substances to all parts of out body.

Here are some interesting notes I dug up from from my old biology notebook.
57-70% of human body weight is made up of water. Percentages depend on fat percentage, proper hydration, sex (i am referring to male or female not frequency) and age. Babies body weights can be up to 75% water.
Blood contains up to 70%
Fat contains up to 20%
Lean Muscle up to 75%
Bones up to 22%
Brain up to 78%
It is easy to see why we need to keep our bodies hydrated in order to function at our personal best level. Proper hydration is important in maintaining health of all our organs as well as slowing the effects of aging. |

Grander units are versatile. For example, the same unit that I have installed in my home may also be used on a bakery, or any place that has the same pipe diameter.
