Summer Camp Independence
Camp dates this year are:
June 14-18
June 21-25
July 5-9
July 12-16
July 19-23
July 26-30
 
Camp will be at the Webster Groves Recreation Center and the hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  As usual, there will be all kinds of sports including baseball, basketball, martial arts, ice-skating, hockey, dance, swimming, soccer, adaptive cycle riding, volleyball and tennis.   Please register early as camp fills up quickly!  Call our office at 314-454-2642 or send an email to Barb at bam8581@bjc.org or Mary at mbe2187@bjc.org
 
Basketball Classbasketball
Starts Friday, March 19 and meets every Friday through May 14, 2010, except for April 2.  It meets at the Center of Clayton from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and the cost is $80, or $10 per class.  For more information and/or to register, please call 314-454-2642.
Swim Class basketball
Starts Friday, March 19 and meets every Friday through May 14, 2010, except for April 2.  There are two classes at the Center of Clayton, 4:30-5:15 p.m. and 5:15-6:00 p.m. and the  cost is $80, or $10 per class.  For more information and/or to register, please call 314-454-2642.
Ongoing Classes
Movement 'N' Motion Dance Class starts Monday, March 1, and continues through Monday,  May 24, 2010.  It is at the Brentwood Community Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and the cost is $40 for each five week session, payable on the 1st week. 
 
Fighters with Courage and Power (FCP) is a martial arts class meeting on Mondays at the United Cerebral Palsy Center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.  The cost is $65 per month.  For information, visit their website at www.ohana.kajukenbo.org
Paraquad 
Has upcoming programs and events:  March 23 is the Disability Legislative Day Rally, February 23 is the beginning of their Sign Language Course.  They have a Women's Support Group, a Youth Group, and a new program, In-Home Services.  For more information, call 314-289-4200 or visit their website at www.paraquad.org

Gateway Disabled Ski Program

Meets on Mondays during January and February at Hidden Valley Ski Resort.  For information, call 636-273-5000, or check out their website at www.gdsp.org. 
 
Therapeutic Groups and Outpatient Services for children of all abilities, ages 6 weeks to 18 years.  The Good Shepherd School for Children has several different programs, including childcare, preschool, and therapeutic services.  Call them at 314-469-0606 or send an email to imax@goodss.org.  
 
Super Swimmers is a learn-to-swim school, established by Sarah Marx.  They work with children of all abilities and levels and specialize in teaching beginners of all ages.  For information, call 314-989-0901 or check out their website at superswimmersacademy.com.
