November 28, 2011 - Vienna: The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) hosted its biennial general conference, convening its 174 Member States, around the theme: "The New Industrial Revolution: Making it Sustainable"

Harvard Belfer Center's Innovation Book of the Week
 
The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at the John F. Kennedy School of Goverment at Harvard University has selected the Third Industrial Revolution as its "innovation book of the week."  Director Celestous Juma says, "Jeremy Rifkin was always ahead of his time.  The New Industrial Revolution confirms that the times have caught up with him.  It is no longer possible to ignore his vision for the future of humankind."
