Project Update!
map of tennessee

We did a lot of great work last weekend making plans for the project.  If you weren't able to make it, please get in touch with Lisa (lisa@crossroads4kids.org) for detailed updates and to see what else you can do to help.

LOCATION: Nashville, Tennessee

PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS: We'll be working with the Pencil Project (www.pencilfoundation.org) among other organizations once we get to Nashville.

RESEARCH: The Research Team did some great work looking at additional partner organizations.  They will be contacting these organizations so that we can find more places to do community service in Nashville.

FUNDRAISING: The Fundraising Team brainstormed more ideas about how to raise money for our trip.  They worked with Shira from the Crossroads Development Team on the idea of a Cardboard Sled Derby.  Teams of four will pay to enter their cardboard sleds in a race that we will organize.  More details to come!

MEDIA: The Media Team developed their plans for our project web site, as well as how we will document our trip.  They have some great plans for a video that will represent our experience.

LOGISTICS: The Logistics Team planned the route we will take to Nashville, including places we will stop and do activities.

Our next big event isn't until March.  Make sure you're in touch with your Project Managers in the meantime.  We have lots of work to do, but it's coming together.  You are all doing a phenomenal job using all of the skills that you've learned with C5 to put together a great project!
