Do Sophomore Grades Matter? We spent some time talking with our C5 graduates, and many of them have said,
"I wish I had focused on my grades earlier in high school."
Right now, college can seem so far away, and with the pressure of work, extra-curricular activities and responsibilities at home, you may not be making your grades a primary focus.
Many colleges will tell you how much your sophomore year grades matter. When you apply to college, your transcript will show all of your high school grades. Colleges will look to see what kind of a student were throughout your high school career.
If you're struggling with your classes,it's important to ask for help. Just because you have had a rough start to Sophomore year, doesn't mean you can't still turn it around. Though colleges like to see good grades overall, they will also look favorably on your transcript if it shows improvement over time.
