College Fridays
|
 College Friday Visits have begun! Please sign up for any college visits you would like to make with Crossroads for Kids.
Fall Schedule
October 29 - Boston College - register to attend
November 5 - Salem State University - register to attend
November 12 - Tufts University - register to attend
December 3 - UMass Boston - register to attend
Spring Visits will include Bridgewater State, Johnson and Wales, UMass Amherst and more!
College Visits and Your High School
Most high schools will give you an excused absence for college visits. We will provide you with a letter from Crossroads for Kids letting them know that you were with us to visit a college. It is important that you also tell your parents/guardians about your plans. We can also give you a letter for your parents if they want more information about your visit.

College Application Timeline: September-October
|
 Are you on track for applying to colleges? Here is a timeline to make sure you're getting things done.
October
- Take the SAT I or II
- Finalize your list of colleges to apply to
- If applying Early Decision or Early Action, release SAT I and II scores
- Work on your personal statement. Have people critique it
- Complete Early Action or Early Decision applications
- Revise your resume. Add senior year activities and classes
- Start filling out the CSS Profile if your college requires it for financial aid
November:

Take the SAT I or II if applicable
- Meet deadlines for Early Action or Early Decision
- Meet your high school's deadlines for secondary school reports
