AnalysisLibrary adds CAE Indexer
AnalysisLibrary now has a CAE Indexer for working with results data from most CAE solvers. The CAE Indexer supports results from ANSYS, ABAQUS, NASTRAN, MARC, LS-DYNA, Fluent, STAR CCM+ and more. The capability includes indexing for search, along with automatic meta-data extraction, generation of 2D images and generation of compressed 3d visualization file. The user uploads the CAE result file and the CAE Indexer does the rest.

DLR licenses MeshSim for anisotropic meshing
Anisotropic meshing of large volumes with tetrahedral elements is a major challenge for CFD and other far-field physics applications. The generation of anisotropic tetrahedral elements/cells with smooth transitions provides for better transition from anisotropic boundary layers while capturing the anisotropic physics behavior more accurately with a smaller mesh. After extensive evalaution and testing DLR Institute of Aerodynamics and Flow Technology selected MeshSim to address this issue. DLR is Germany's national research center for aeronautics and space.

VCollab joins JT Open program
VCollab joined the JT Open program to provide interoperability between the VCollab solutions and JT format. This interface will provide interoperability between the VCollab solutions and JT format. PLM and SDM/SLM customers wwill significantly benefit from this interoperability between the VCollab's CAE visualization solution and the JT format. VCollab solutions reduce the CAE results files into ultra compact (up to 99% reduction) sizes for easier sharing and provide a light weight viewer to view and process results. VCollab also offers translators to convert massive results files from ANSYS, NASTRAN, ABAQUS,LS DYNA, or ANSYS FLUENT, StarCCM+ into a common light weight VCollab files for CAE Visual Collaboration.
