MDS 3.0 - jRAVEN Update Version 1.1.1

JRAVEN Update:


JRAVEN 1.1.1 was made available on April 5th at:


jRAVEN 1.1.1 addresses the following: 

  • Change in date validation to line up with recently updated VUT
  • Section S updates for April 01,2011
  • Version 1.01.0 of the data submission specifications

Please note that the patch can only be applied over an existing version 1.0.5 of JRAVEN.

CMS Changes Vendors from AT&T to Verizon - Update

CMS Contractor Changing from AT&T to Verizon for MDS Submissions


CMS has made a contract change and is in the process of migrating network equipment and processes over from AT&T to Verizon.  MDS, Swing Bed, and OASIS providers will have a new process to use for transmission within the next couple of months and will no longer use the AT&T client after the changes are complete.  A new website address will be provided for use in the transmission process. 


The cutoff date for the switchover will be sometime after June 30th, but no definite dates are yet available.  You can continue to check the website,, for updated information.
