Friendship Week -  was a great way to start  our first week at camp.  Junior Camp boys and girls had a wonderful time at our Teddy Bear Workshop.  Campers were able to stuff their own bears and dress them in their own Tall Pines Tee shirts.  On Thursday campers were treated to a special performance from our friends at Puppet Pizzazz.  Everyone is making new friends and they are looking forward to next weeks theme - Farm Week!

Middle Camp got off to an exciting start this week with a Flag Football and Handball tournament.  It has been a wonderful week here at camp for the weather and making new friends.  Next week campers will be participating in World Cup Soccer Tournament.

Senior Campers were excited to return to camp this year to see all their old friends and make new friends.  We started out with a Flag Football Tournament for the boys and Handball tournament for the girls.  There were some exciting matches.  We have two new super clubs, Karaoke, Spikeball,  and Horseshoes. 

CITs are having fun this summer working with their bunks learning what it is like to be a counselor. But there was also time to play with their friends.  This week CITs went roller skating and a great time was had by all.  Next week CITs will have their first big trip to Dorney Park. Pick up will be at 7:30 PM here at camp.   

On Friday July 8th in honor of Uncle Andrew's birthday campers and staff will have Krispy Kreme donuts for snack. As always alternatives will be available for campers and staff with allergies. Ingredient labels to follow, The two Krispy Kreme stores in the Philly area, Center City and Oxford Circle, have gone nut free at the request of Tall Pines Day Camp. It helped that the General Manager of Krispy Kreme Philly was Uncle Andrew's former intern at Willow Grove Day Camp and the Assistant General Manager is a family friend. Please keep in mind that the remainder of the Krispy Kreme stores throughout the country may not be nut free.
