Our recent visit to the Tri-State Camping Conference had us purchasing new and exciting items for the campers. We purchased two Aqua Spheres. Campers climb into the Aqua Sphere via the red circle and walk around. It is similar to a hampster ball. . The Aqua Sphere can raced in the pool or on dry land. They will make their debut at the Spring Fling on May 21st. Campers and parents will get to try them out at the Fling and again on Visiting Day. In addition to the spheres we purchased 10 Plasma Cars. The Plasma Cars are deisgned for use on the Junior Camp track. They are self-propelled and have a qweight limit of 225 lbs. We know the campers love our new toys.
While at the conference Uncle Andrew spoke on a panel about creating a camp that is nut-free. The session was well attended and participants learned about the steps that Tall Pines and a few other camps have taken to make sure that campers with nut allergies are safe. |

Enrollment Far Ahead of Schedule
Enrollment this year has exceded expectations. We are 12 % ahead of 2010's enrollment at this time. In 2010 we were 12 percent of 2009's enrollment. We are currently filled to 80% of capacity. Philadelphia continues to be a strong area of growth. We have added two more vans in town for a total of 8 and they are nearly filled to capacity. If you have friends that have not enrolled yet please please urge them to do so quickly. And if you are one of our returning campers then please e-mail us for your EZ APP.

RSVP to the Spring Fling on May 21st
The Spring Fling is scheduled for May 21st with a raindate of May 22nd. The camp opens and the moonbounce, climbing tower, miniature golf, pedestal joust, Aqua Spheres, Plasma Cars, Pedal Karts, boating, hayrides and many more activities are available for the campers and their families. Food and refreshments are served too. If you have not yet RSVP's please do so. Our guests will be able to tour the camp and see the newly repainted nurse's office and girl's locker room and the second covered gaga court.
