Junior Camp
This week Junior Campers were treated to a wonderful program from Discovery Museum.  Planet Pirate came to visit and told the campers all about how to save the planet.  He explained how  each of them they can do their part to recycle and reuse.  Planet Pirate was our hero.

Hope all the littlest campers had a great summer.  We have more fun instore for them next season!

Middle and Senior Camp
Campers in Middle and Senior Camp enjoyed a week filled with color war activities.  There were many challenges from Tapu-ae, Super Ghost and of course Gaga.  But I think the best part of the week was watching their counselors participate in color war events and cheering them on.  There was alot of cheering, face painting, and general Tall Pines fun.

 Counselors in Training
It has been a wonderful year in the CIT program.  There were many friends to make at camp and lots of fun on trips to the shore, bowling and amusement parks.  CITs in the 8th grade are ready to move up to Junior Counselor positions after two years of working in speciality areas or with bunks.  This has been a memorable season for the CIT campers and we look forward to many more next year!

Here's the latest!!!
15B was the bunk with the most Oscar nominations for 2010 and as the winner, they will be featured on the cover of the 2010 Year book.  Congratulations to 15B and all the nominated bunks this year!

 Color War
Tall Pines Day Camp Color War 2010 has proven to be extraordinary.   There were many challenges throughout the week including a Trivia Toy Story, cow pie & moon pie eating contest & finally a paint your partner event. The best by far was a hoe down-throw down dance contest. In the end Woody and the White  Team prevailed with the most points & lighting the fire 1st at the end of Apache Relay. It does not matter who wins or looses, because the Tall Pines Spirit was alive and well and this color war proved to be  magical all week long.  As the song goes, "You Got a Friend In Me" was truly the  theme of the season.

News for 2011
Tall Pines Theatre Club will present "Bye Bye Birdie" next season.
