Junior Camp
Winter in July Week - You know we always say that summers are magical at Tall Pines and this week was no exception... because it snowed at Tall Pines. Junior Camp made snowballs and snowmen. Campers cooled off during this weeks winter theme as they all had a chance to make and play in their own snow. How magical is that!

Middle and Senior Camp
Middle and Senior Campers had fun during their Ghost Tournament this week. It was a good thing the Ghost Court is in the shade because everyone was cool under the trees. On the court, things got hot when middle and senior camp bunks challenged each other to a little friendly competition. Winners are listed below.

Varsity & Sorority Club had a good time on their bowling trip this week. Only a few gutter balls for this crew!!! Next week they are off to Mt Laurel's Funplex.

Counselors in Training
Our CITs had a wonderful time at Great Adventure this week. The rides were exciting as always. During Carnival, CITs took turns helping out with their booths. The boys were in charge of Splursh, our of version of a dunk tank only with a balloon full of water. The girls were assisting with the Tatoo Booth which is always a popular place to be. They did a great job and the younger campers had a good time. Thanks to all the CITs that participated! |

The winners of this week's Bunk Oscars were 1B & Varsity Club. These bunks were nominated by counselors as having the best sportsmanship and exemplary behavior. Congratulations to the winners!!

Carnival - Of course the best plans are the ones you don't expect. So it didn't rain as much as we expected, in the long run everything works out. Despite the change in plans, Carnival was once again one of the most popular events in camp. Today turned out to be beautiful weatherwise and everything fell into place. The booths were awesome, the buddy shots popular, and facepainting was so professional. New this year was a "real"carnival ride and hayrides around Tall Pines Day Camp. Let's not forget the wonderful snacks of water ice, cotton candy and popcorn. And finally, the prize booth was a popular spot for everyone. So who says you can't party in the morning? Not Tall Pines Day Camp! Everyday is a party day here!
World cup soccer came to Tall Pines this year to coordinate with the exciting real world cup going on earlier this year. There were many exciting matches but here are the winners:

Tie Dye Week
Parents, please send in shirts labeled with your child's name and bunk number. Our new tie dye system requires we soak items over night, so the sooner the items are in and marked the sooner we will be ready. PLEASE BE ADVISED WE CAN ONLY TIE DYE ONE ITEM. |
