Junior Camp
Pirate Week - Hi there Mattie!! It was a swash buckleing time here at camp this week. The pirates were hunting their prizes throughout camp using special treasure maps. After they dug up their treasure boxes they claimed their prizes. Finally, our special pirate guests treated Junior Campers to pirate face painting and a special pirate booty snack.
Next Week - Its Luau Week!!

Middle and Senior Camp
Middle and Senior Campers were treated to an extra surprise this week despite the rainy weather. So through the rain, wind and hail the Harlem WIzards visited Tall Pines and put on a wonderful show. Even with the rain pouring down we all gathered in the rec hall to await the show. The Wizards challenged our Athletic Staff to a game. We laughed and cheered, got some prizes and had a great time. This week has been particularly challenging weather- wise but our spirits are up whether its rain or heat!! Senior Camp Girls had a special treat for Super Clubs - Tie Dying with Aunt Susan. Next week they will complete the bunks that we were unable to get to. |

Counselors in Training This was an exciting week for the CITs because they were treated to two wonderful trips with their friends. The first trip was Ice Skating and the second was to the Mt. Laurel Funplex. Next week CITs will be heading to the shores of Wildwood. Don't we all wish we could go?
During Olympics CITs were treated to a special schedule with the specialists taking advantage of the olympic schedule. |

Here's the latest!!!
The winners of this week's Bunk Oscars were 19B and 4B. These bunks were nominate by counselors as having the best sportsmanship and exemplary behavior. Congratulations to the winners!!
Olympics - Well it was a great start. The parade of nations marched into the assembly area followed by the Olympic Flag and Torch carriers, represented by the CITs. The day started off with bunks traveling to different venues to play games from around the world. Everyone was having fun that is until the heavens opened up and drenched Tall Pines Day Camp and thus ended our Olympic Event. But Tall Pines Campers and Staff really know how to keep the spirit alive by switching over to the rainy day plan. We can have fun rain or shine!
5 Year Jackets and Pins - It was an exciting day at Tall Pines when campers and staff received their 5 year jackets. Of course it was a perfect day for jackets with the temps reaching near 100! It did not however, deter anyone from the anticipation. In addition, our campers received thier new Tall Pines Pins which are replacing the yearly plaques. It will be fun to watch their collections grow each year. |
