Vaun's Note on Wisdom

Vaun Swanson Greetings!,

Do you have wise women in your life? If so, what are they like? The ones I know typically model respect for their bodies, develop their minds, nurture their souls, find ways to express their creativity, care about others and are interested in what is happening in the world. I love to be in the presence of wise women because they inspire me. But how does one become wise? It seems fairly obvious that not all old women are wise, nor are all wise women old. It can't be just a matter of age. Wisdom doesn't just happen. It seems to be more a practice of intentionality coupled with life experience.

Pomegranate Place is committed to providing opportunities for women to grow in wisdom through five, often-converging, streams: Body, Mind, Spirit, Creativity and Global Awareness, which you'll read more about below. Our Affiliate Guides are at work planning multi-sensory experiences for this fall that will challenge and equip us to become wise women. Perhaps you will be the one to inspire others. We need each other and we need you! Come join us.
