Happy New Year everyone!
Mere hours away from the much anticipated 2012, this is an auspicious time to determine what you'd like to create in the new year. Spend some time over the next few days with each of the following questions to help you determine your direction.
1. What do you want to be known for in 2012?
2. What do you want to achieve in the next 5 years?
3. What do you want to achieve in your life?
4. What do you consider yourself an authority on? What do you strive to be an authority on? 5. What's the "why?" behind what you do?
These make good journal topics if you're given to that sort of thing. If not, maybe this is the time to start.
Once you've had time to meditate on these questions, share your insights. Think big. Think global. Let the world know what you're up to this year. Post it on your Facebook wall, share it with your spiritual community, or create a vision board. Get the word out there as to how you will usher in the new way of being.
As an example, here are some of my responses to the first question:
In 2012, I want to be known for my depth and breath of knowledge and wisdom in the following areas:
* Yoga as a lifestyle;
* Public speaking tips and techniques;
* Consistency and clarity in languaging to manifest intentions for business and personal success; * Conscious business practices, with a business model based on love (see opening quote); * Helping physicians and hospital administrators improve their practices by reducing stress;
* Planting the seeds of a life-long yoga practice for teenage boys in juvenile detention, and people in recovery, as a way to transform from the inside out;
* Astrological heads-up for current planetary transits;
* Human Design as a way to navigate life's currents using our unique circuitry; and * Compassion, strength and fortitude of the Divine Mother and Warrior Goddess, Durga Devi.
The time is NOW, folks, to dream big, and bring about the type of world that works for everyone. It starts with you. What part will you play in bringing this about?
Here's to a prosperous, healthy 2012!
