8 BASE GLAZING SPECIALISTS 

 
We have gained an excellent reputation for glazing 8 Base wraparound eyewear and
drivewear
fashionable curved frames across Europe.
 
Lenstec and Tant Laboratories can deliver  consistent results using Shamir Smart Attitude's As-Worn Technology.
 
Our Sports Eyewear technicians have been highly trained in Germany in all aspects of wraparound
specialist glazing.
 
8 Base Glazing is a new technique available from Lenstec and Tant Optical capable of following accurately the edge of these steeply curved lenses and creating a sophisticated and individually tailored bevel with a unique profile has at last dealt properly with the cosmetics of the glazing.
  
The difficulties of creating this edge should not be underestimated and the process still requires highly skilled technicians capable of a detailed pre check and an understanding of the edging process.
 
So, whether it's an Oakley, Nike, Police or Rayban frame these can now be glazed with the utter confidence that no matter how demanding the final user's vision requirements may be, the result will be successful distortion free vision. And this goes for high index, polarised, mirror coated, and even varifocals.
