CDC Dance Company Wins Big at The Streetz Dance Competition!

Junior Dance Company

The City Dance Center Junior Dance Company received a 5 star rating (1st place) for their hip hop routine, "Tambourine". In addition, their routine also scored in the top two highest scoring Junior routines, which was a huge honor! The girls had the opportunity to perform their routine again during the faculty show on Sunday. We are so proud of them!

Senior Dance Company with Miss Danri

Our Senior Dance Company did an amazing job and also received a 5 star rating (1st place) for their hip hop routine, "Clap ta This". The competition was tough and there were very few 5 stars that were awarded. Again, we are very proud of our girls! Wish the girls luck at our next competition in Houston on Feb. 12th and 13th! Go City Dance Center!!!

Spring Showcase Info and Reminders

"Imagine" - CDC Showcase 2010

Reminders:

Our Spring Showcase is May 21st at The Jefferson Theater.

Specific Costume Info will be handed out at the studio in the next 2 weeks.

Please send a blank CD labeled with your child's name, and we will copy their showcase music so they can practice their routines at home.

Attendance is extremely important so that dancers feel comfortable with their routines when it's time to perform on the "big stage"!

Please call or email if you have questions or need us to email you a copy of the Showcase Info packet that was handed out in November.

Congratulations to Mackenzie White!!! She is one of our STAR STUDENTS this month. Mackenzie is 4 yrs old and takes Ballet, Tap, and Acro. Mackenzie is a joy to teach! She listens, follows directions, knows her dances and is sweet to her classmates. Way to go Mackenzie!

Congrats to Ciara Dunn! She is our other STAR STUDENT this month! Ciara is 5 years old and takes ballet, tap, and acro. She always enters the studio with a smile on her face and is a hard worker, a great listener, and a very good dancer! Great job Ciara!
