The Energy of The Sun
Slow Down
Meeting update
The energy of the sun - today and every day...
Sunlight Light. Warmth. Life force. Energy.

What is it about the sun that brings out the smile in each of us?
Where does the sun go when the clouds form?

How can we be sunny when our lives seem to be full of rain?

This week the news is full of the greed of our politicians, the demise of our industries, and the ongoing conflicts throughout the world.  But in the corner of the news you'll still find the stories of generosity, success and heroism.  So how do the two worlds exist side by side?   There is a lesson here for us all...

When the clouds appear-the sun is still there. Every day, shining brightly, giving its warmth, providing the energy and the life force within all of us.  And on the days when the clouds block out the sun and our lives are clouded by the negativity that bubbles up from time to time, we must remember that the clouds are temporary and it's the sun that's permanent.  While the greed surfaces in each of us from time to time, it's the spirit of the sun that shines within us every day.  While the  clouds that darken our moods can appear to block out our sun, the warmth of our spirit cannot be extinguished.  Clouds blow away and the sun wins.  So next time we see, hear or feel the blanket of the clouds, just look inside for the sun.
Slow down...
Inner Voice

"Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy."

This week I've been learning new stuff... and its been quite painful.  Finding out what I didn't know and what I thought I knew was wrong, hasn't been easy.  But in my moments of self pity I managed to focus on the needs of others and I listened to their problems.  And suddenly, my own challenges were simply irritations.  My own discomfort was nothing more than an inconvenience. When I slowed down to listen my spirit's questions, I realised that I could help.  And in the helping, came a healing .  Not just for them but for me too.  Groovy...
The first meeting is set. A picnic in the park?
Picnic
Midsummer's Day (well, Midsummer's Night)
24th June 2009, Henley In Arden, 7.00pm

Possibly on Henley Mount.

Probably a picnic with candles so that we can watch the sun go down. And maybe a "bring your own" food, drink and thoughts...

Not sure yet, but keep it free.
Till next time....
