Learning to ride on the board of universal energy.

The day breaks, your eyes open and the early morning sun, held back by the dense fabric of the closed curtains, still manages to touch your face. And you just know the day will be full of promise, energy and opportunity....

But another day breaks. The early morning sun is there just the same, pushing through the curtains. But today it feels different.... Clouds of doubt drift across your mind and you wonder what challenges the day has ahead. That familiar uncomfortable feeling of foreboding, worry and uncertainty engulfs you, even before you slip off the covers to make your way into the day....

So how can two days dawn and we feel so differently about the day ahead?

The answers lie not outside us but within us. Our dreams may have brought doubts or certainty; We may still be carrying the load of the previous day, or the ongoing concerns of our lives. But there is an energy that we can tune in to that can help us surf the ebb and flow of the wave that is our life. The key is to stop, listen to your heart and ask yourself a question: Who can I call to help me today? Where can I go to find peace? And the answer will come. Then make that call or visit that place. Your spirit knows all that it needs to know to guide you to the right person or the right place- we just need to listen. And then when we make the call and the friend, colleague or family member somehow says just what we needed to hear... Or we visit the place and in the peace of our silence, we get given the reassurance that all will be well... Coincidence? Chance? Or did we follow our spirit and we found the answers which were simply waiting for us in the love and support of another spirit. It is this connection that we all have with the universal energy that allows us to surf the wave of our difficult moments and rise up to enjoy the rest of the ride.
