The idea that a group of like minded, loving and giving people could sit down and enjoy a glass of their favourite tipple, or simply a glass of intuitive discussion was a bit far fetched eh?   Would people really dig the idea that business people could network with absolutely NO expectation of any    business coming their way?  That to sit and simply give their time, energy and support for another lonely soul (that's a "self employed business owner" to you and me) would have some resonance?
Well, the universe conspired and everyone that received the email responded with a "YES! I'd like to be involved!" and so where do we go next?  Well,  a meeting will be arranged for that glass of intuitive chat and you'll be emailed about that soon.  Watch this space.....

So for now another thought comes to mind....perhaps a simple weekly newsletter just to remind us that the universe is working to help, if we just step back and let our energy flow and feel its guidance.  Just my way of trying to keep your (kindred) spirits up as we tread this journey together?
So here's a coincidence to start the ball rolling, stir your mind and challenge your logic....

I (as you all know), like to think that we can connect to greater forces than we can see.  And a while ago I started to read a book about the art of allowing other "beings" to talk through you to help others.  Sounds spooky and possibly uncomfortable for some, but is simply something we could all do when we were born, but we have been trained to shut down.  But if we just shut down our busy left brain instead for a while, we might just discover that we are capable of more than we thought... Anyway, I read to page 81 (of 166 pages) and stopped some time ago.  I picked it up 2 days ago, and these were the next words I read....

"David Furlong, a very respected healer and teacher, made some interesting comments in a piece published in the Spring 1998 issue of Kindred Spirit magazine:
 
We all like to think we are serving a "higher cause".  Over the years I have heard many groups claim they were special  - working for the salvation of the planet in a way that only they could fulfil.  Let me emphatically state that anyone who has love in their heart that is expressed openly and freely is a special person with an important mission to     fulfil.... The curbing of the ego is one of the first steps of spiritual development...."
 
Wow!  A reference to a magazine called "Kindred Sprit" on the very next page I read.  A simple coincidence?  Or did I stop reading before because I was meant to read it now....?  And an explanation too, that all we need is to love and to lose our ego's and we can change the world...  So perhaps we can change the way we do business too?   Till next time.....
