Distinguished Young Women announces book release
Proceeds to benefit organization at local, state and national level
A message from Becky Jo Peterson, Executive Director of Distinguished Young Women:
This has been a year for seeing several projects come to fruition. Thanks to a dedicated and hard-working Board of Directors, we launched a new identity for this national program in June. Since then we have been spreading the word in many different ways and seeking new sponsorship opportunities; we have seen our events grow to double capacity over the previous year in almost every case; and our book Full Bloom: Cultivating Success is actually published and in the hands of many in the Distinguished Young Women family. The book is the brainchild of Amy Osmond Cook, who diligently worked to bring together many former participants in America's Junior Miss and Distinguished Young Women.
Full Bloom is a wonderful public relations tool for us, an opportunity to tell our story to a wide audience, and a fundraiser to boot! If you order your book online through the Sourced Media Books web site, you can put in a code for the state or local program you wish to benefit and that program will receive $6.99 of the proceeds! To benefit the national office, just leave the code blank. This book will go on sale through retail outlets after national finals this year and is available exclusively through the Sourced Media Books web site or at a state or local program until then.

Please support Distinguished Young Women and provide inspirational reading material to your friends and family at the same time. Our gratitude goes out to all the authors who contributed and especially to Amy Osmond Cook, Amy Goodman, and Anne Hagerman Wilcox for editing the work.
