Distinguished Young Woman of America participates in GoDaddy.com Bowl Game festivities

Madison Leonard, Distinguished Young Woman of America for 2010, visited Mobile, Alabama this January to participate in the GoDaddy.com Bowl Game festivities. Madison's schedule was packed full of exciting events during her visit including the GoDaddy.com Bowl Mayor's Luncheon, Greer's/Press-Register Mardi Gras Parade, and GoDaddy.com Bowl Game featuring Middle Tennessee State University versus Miami University of Ohio. Madison participated in the coin toss prior to the start of the game and entertained the crowd with a vocal performance of God Bless America at the start of the third quarter. In addition, Madison had the opportunity to meet Danika Patrick, Indy Car and NASCAR driver, who was the keynote speaker at the GoDaddy.com Bowl Mayor's Luncheon. Distinguished Young Women is excited to welcome a new Category Sponsor for the 54th Annual Distinguished Young Women National Finals. Distinguished Young Women says farewell to Cassidy Grimes
Stephanie Bradford joins the organization's team as Communications Director
Distinguished Young Women extends its sincere thanks to Cassidy Grimes for her dedicated service to the organization as Communications Director for the past four years. Cassidy will remain involved with the organization in a volunteer capacity. Cassidy and her husband are expecting their second child this summer. Stephani e Bradford has taken over as Communications Director effective January 3. Prior to joining the Distinguished Young Women team, Bradford was employed by JJPR Agency as a project liaison for the ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA grand opening events. In addition, Bradford has worked as Campaign Coordinator at GulfQuest and as an intern in the Communications Department at the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce. Bradford graduated cum laude from Auburn University receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations. A native of Mobile, Bradford attended Davidson High School and participated in the Mobile County Junior Miss program. Upon returning to Mobile, she continued her involvement with the organization as a member of the Distinguished Alliance and as a National Finals volunteer.
