Dental Implants are best suited to patients with good oral health. If you have advanced tooth decay, you will need to have it fixed before the implants can be placed. Gum disease also needs to be resolved before the surgery.

A good candidate needs to have plenty of healthy bone tissue so that the implants can be firmly anchored. If it's determined that a client does not have enough bone to support an implant restoration, bone grafting procedures may be considered.

Why did you get into the dental industry?

It was an accident. 16 years ago I was in college and a girl in my biology lab worked for Dr. Gasper. She asked me if I was interested in doing sterilization in their office. I thought it could be interesting, so I interviewed and got the job! As I learned more and more I really fell in love with the office and the industry!
