Hi Everyone,

 

This is just a quick note to remind you that we have our next Photo Group meeting in the BCA's room at the Old Town Hall next Tuesday, at 7 pm. The agenda is:

 

• Jean Hammond will discuss the whats and hows for our library show in the fall.
• Bill Davison will present a "capture to print" workflow utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Bridge that provides a structured approach to optimizing images. The intent is to present principles that should be applicable regardless of the imaging products you use. We will focus on how to approach an image and how to prioritize what to do and why to do it, working from general to specific corrections. We will concentrate during this session on color and, if time permits, look at black and white conversion.
• Mark Levinson will offer a few sample images for a discussion of critiques from a compositional point of view.
• Joe Gallagher will lead our continuing discussion about our options for social networking for the group including how we can use both Facebook and Yahoo Groups. We hope that you've had a chance to look at the BCA Photo Group's Facebook page created by John Sullivan and you will shortly get an email inviting you to join our Yahoo Group.
