Happy October, Everyone! If you're receiving this monthly email for the first time, it means we probably connected via Social Media sometime in September. If you don't enjoy this email, you can unsubscribe below.
Here in central Texas, the summer heat has finally given way to cool, crisp mornings, and afternoons with highs in the 70's and 80's. We had some wonderful rain last week and the weather has been gorgeous.
As I thought about how the weather has changed, I began to notice that many other things are changing as well. For example, the upcoming political elections will bring some changes, as various officials are replaced by their challengers.
How about you? Are things changing for you (hopefully for the better)? I encourage you to do some introspection this month. Look at your own life. What would you like to change? This time of year often brings new people or situations. In my situation, I met my wife-to-be in October. That was definitely a change for the better!
Because this is the beginning of the Jewish New Year, I believe that many changes occur at this time of year. If you look at your own life, you'll probably realize that a number of things had their beginning for you sometime in late September or early October.
I pray that the coming changes will draw all of us closer to God.
Until November,
Steve

Our "10 Things That Christians Can Do to Prepare for the Future" went very well. If you weren't able to attend, let me know if you'd like me to share some of that information with you.
