Upcoming South Coast Dancesport Workshops: West Coast Swing: Mondays at 7:00-7:45 p.m. (6-week series beginning 6/29) Country Line Dancing: Wednesdays at 7:45-8:30 p.m. (6-week series beginning 7/1) Social Salsa: Thursdays at 7:00-7:45 p.m. (6-week series beginning 7/2) Heather Smith is coming in to coach on July 16th from 9:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. while Kasia Kozac joins us the following Monday, July 20th from 11:00 a.m. on. The San Diego Dancesport Championships (held at the Westin Horton Plaza) took place at the beginning of June with exciting results. Veteran students Kathy Lynch and Trish Van Mourick led an excited group of South Coast students into one of the most beautiful events of the year. |

It’s summer, and while vacation may be on your mind, don’t forget to plan ahead. One of our students is celebrating an important birthday milestone this fall, and to honor her, we are naming a regular South Coast Dancesport annual event after this important landmark. The Hawaii Star Ball 2009 will be henceforth referred to as Hawaii 5-0! A large contingent of students and teachers will be jetting out of Los Angeles in early October to attend one of the most scenic (and relaxing!) competitions of the year. We will be festively pre-planning for Hawaii 5-0 on the 18th of July—if you’d like to join us, ask your instructor for more information. |
