Greetings!
Another day and another new for the Wilson's house. Today we learned that JD does not like fireworks. Nothing special about this... most dogs do not like the loud noise and whistles of fireworks going off in their backyard. And after seeing him hide in our pantry during a thunder storm the other day, JD being scared was expected...
So after the boys and I were finished having fun in the backyard (setting off fireworks purchased on the side of the road in a make-shift tent... Dorothy this is not New Jersey any more.) it was time to put the kids to bed.
And JD decided to join Adam... he did a clean jump right in to his bed and was determined to stay the night. Adam at first was not all that impressed but warmed up to the idea and asked if he could stay. Answer 'NO' and picking up a 70 lbs dog out of a crib was not an easy task, epically since he wanted to stay.
We'll keep you posted on what JD does next, and please please if you know of anyone that would like to adopt JD please pass this along. For all this uniqueness he is a great lab and just loves everyone he meets! |
