The CFR Story
We used to have a business that looked like this picture to the right - flourishing, strong, vibrant and steady, and then..... Does this sound like a business you might know? Unfortunately, this building to the right crumbled and is now in ruins, but fortunately, our business was built on a strong enough foundation that it is still vibrant, strong, steady and in business......however, not without pain.

One of the things we have learned in this economy, is the power of cash and of strong financial positioning. When the economy was vibrant, it wasn't as obvious, because new clients were coming to us in droves and existing clients were renewing in droves.  So, the  learning from experience we want to share with you in this article will save your business if you implement it immediately!

Defend what you have (Bob Harrison). In order to be strong and survive, we must focus on what we have and not on what we don't have. Some of the great questions to ask are:
  • How can I DELIGHT my clients
  • How can I continue to meet all of my clients needs and then some
  • How can I help my clients business grow
Once, you ask these questions, you focus on what you have and cherish what you have. As a result, more will come to you. There is a biblical passage related to this that says that if we are faithful with the little things, more will be given unto him. And whether you are a spiritual person or not, this is incredible advice for business prosperity and growth.

So, as a result, every payment that comes in now, some is set aside in a savings account even if there are pressing needs; such as bills, the next payment will pay the bills until we catch up and get our financial house in order.

So, lesson learned and as a result of this - we may have something that might be of incredible interest to you. Last week we talked about what happens in this economy if your company is hiring. Well, the same thing that happens in any economy with a an unemployment rate greater than 10% - you get bombarded with resumes and applications. So, what do you do with all of these?
After helping several companies work through this issue, we developed an incredibly simple strategy to effectively evaluate the myriad of resumes and applications and not miss the diamond in the proverbial haystack. What is it - you ask. Well, get our FREE REPORT for the extensive details, but for now, let me tell you it is as simple as Core Values. You identify words that illustrate and indicate a fundamental alignment with your Company Core Values and then review the resumes and applications looking for those simple KEYWORDS.

The Keywords offer a simple, yet effective strategy to review resumes, applications, essays and whatever other tools you use quickly and efficiently. Since they are focused on Core Values, it is very difficult for people to make up words like that and include them in their writing because of the psychological and physiological nature of writing between hand and brain activity. you see, people can speak things easily that may not be true (but even that can generally be detected by Lie Detector Test), but they cannot easily write it because of the bodies nature. It can't carry out things that aren't in alignment with their core values, so they will use other words, words that don't match yours.
