What
an exciting time for our country last week!
Scott Brown's election in Massachusetts
to the U.S. Senate is a strong and welcome sign that our country is fighting
back against the agenda being pushed by Democrats in Washington.
Also
exciting for our campaign was the addition of Jake DeVantier to the team as our
campaign manager last week! Bringing Jake on board is a big step that will help
us increase our momentum as we continue our travels across the district,
talking with you about your concerns for the Big First and our nation.
I
was in the northwestern part of the district two weeks ago meeting with
business leaders in Oberlin, Oakley, Colby, Hays, and Hoxie. While in Hoxie, I
had the pleasure of speaking to the Rotary Club and meeting some great people
on my walk down Main Street. In addition, I had productive meetings with
industry leaders in Garden City, Scott
City, Ulysses, Sublette, Sharon Springs,
Tribune, Hanston and Larned last week.
I
recognize the frustrations I hear from Kansans--reckless spending, closed-door
deals, and forced agendas in D.C. They are my frustrations, too, and, that's
why the people I've met with over the last few weeks are supporting our
campaign--because I am not afraid to stand up for the interests of the Big
First in Washington.
The positive reactions and warm receptions I'm receiving show me that people
are supporting my candidacy and want to share in our vision--to work for what
is good for Kansas
and get our district and country moving in the right direction.
As
I have said before, if you have any questions about my candidacy, our campaign,
or issues that are important to you, you can email me at tracey@mannforcongress.com. Thanks again
for all the support we have received so far.
Together, we can win and fight for what is right in Washington. |
