Our campaign continues to move forward and build positive
momentum. As I talk to scores of
Kansans in my travels throughout the Big First, I continue to hear over and
over again that most disagree with the direction the country is heading. Concerns about the proposed health care
reform, cap and trade, staggering deficit spending, and the economy are on the
forefront of everyone's mind.
Now more than ever, we need new ideas and fresh faces to help us
address the issues that we are all facing.
As I have said from the beginning, this is not my campaign but OUR
campaign to bring about positive change.
Kansans tell me over and over that they are supporting my candidacy
because they don't want a career politician to carry on the strong legacy of
Congressman Jerry Moran; but rather, someone who has business experience and is
not afraid to work for what is right - even if that means bucking the status
quo of Capitol Hill politics.
Kansas is not alone in its concerns about the
direction of our country. Predictions
about today's elections in Virginia, New Jersey, and New
York indicate a widespread desire for something other
than the status quo. Tonight's final
election results in these few states could be telling of a much larger story.
We continue to travel extensively throughout the Big First to
meet with and listen to the concerns of Kansans. I will be in Oakley, Scott City,
Goodland, and Garden City later this week.
As always, if you have thoughts or questions regarding our
campaign, please feel free to email me at tracey@mannforcongress.com. Together, we can win this race and send Kansas
common sense to Washington. |
