Mann For Congress Campaign Announces Members of Steering Committee
(SALINA, KS)Tracey Mann announced today 18 members of the Mann for Congress campaign steering committee.

"Our campaign continues to move forward and build positive momentum. As I have said from the beginning, this is not my campaign, but OUR campaign for Congress. I have had the privilege of meeting many outstanding leaders during my travels across the Big First and am proud that so many of them are joining our team," said Mann.

Tom Hemmer, chairman of the Mann for Congress campaign and former chief of staff for Congressman Jerry Moran said, "I have great concerns about the direction of our country. Washington spends too much, borrows too much, taxes too much and pursues policies that erode our freedom and values.  Kansans realize now more than ever, we need strong Kansas leadership in Washington. We need new leaders that are willing to carry on the legacy of Congressman Jerry Moran and we need leaders who have deep roots in Kansas, not politics. I believe Tracey Mann is the best candidate in this race to carry on the tradition of outstanding leaders from the First Congressional District."

State Representative and former Kansas Livestock Association president Don Hineman of Dighton is also serving on the Mann for Congress steering committee.

"Tracey has the talent, energy and judgment to be an outstanding Congressman.  More importantly, he has a deep appreciation for our way of life and an understanding of the issues that matter to folks in our part of Kansas," said Hineman.
