Greetings!
Waldo McBurney was one of the nearly 200 friends and supporters that gathered at my family farm south of Quinter on April 4th for my announcement that I am running for the United State Congress. In 2006, Waldo was named "America's oldest worker" at the age of 104 and he holds multiple world records where he has excelled in track and field events for his age level.

Waldo Leading the PledgeWaldo has appeared on various television shows including the CBS Evening News and MSNBC; and has been written about in several publications including USA Today. Waldo has also written a book entitled, "My First 100 Years! A look back from the finish line."

Waldo is a great American and a great Kansan. He has been a role model of leadership and achievement to many and especially to me as I grew up in Quinter. That's why I asked him to come to my event last month, and specifically why I asked him to lead the crowd in saying the Pledge of Allegiance. It is Waldo's level of excellence that I plan to bring to Washington D.C. as your United States Congressman!

This campaign is not about me, it's about US! Together we can continue the tradition of principled and responsible leadership that Congressman Jerry Moran has provided over the past 13 years. Excitement and energy is building as I see people joining me day after day, ready to help me lead the Big First into the next decade. Join our team!
